Hidden Phase of life
It was heavily raining on that day, when Saran came out of his house. He has no money but was wearing a costly shirt, has no food but extremely hungry. All he could have is a depressed look on his smart looking face. Saran was only 12 years old. Raised by a single mother never felt any difficulties but the graceful love of his mother. She fulfilled all his need upto this day.
Then why? The confused look that was completely the reflection of his inner anxiety. All that Saran mumbled was, " she did hurt me. She loves me so much but why would she do that!". What exactly would have happened????? About whom he was talking?
Saran was an obedient and smart boy. He loved and cared his mother. Sometimes Nandita feels Praveen in him. But could never tell him. All she could do is to show him Praveen's photo and asks him to address Praveen as " appa". Whenever he asks about his father's whereabouts she doesnt have anything to say but remained quite or distracted him. It is no more useful now. Saran turned 12, it was his birthday today. He is now a grown up boy can't be distracted anymore.
Its a birthday party involved only a mother and son. Nandita prepared his favourite red velvet cake with his favourite guitar as a present. Saran's face was not an usual one he had a depressed look in him. Nandita could tell that immediately after seeing. She knew he is upto something but lovingly wished her son kissed his forehead hugged him with more love. Saran finally opened up. Compelled his mother to tell more about his father. He never knew how much it hurts his mother. Seeing Nandita's an usual silence he realises she would never open her mouth. Deeply hurt by his mother's silence he left his home.
What will Saran face in his life after coming out of his house?
Will he be able to realise his mother's feeling?
Saran was extremely hungry, siting in a platform on a lonely street. He is just a 12 year old boy doesn't know what to do but only to cry. He heard a voice behind him in a park bench an old looking man shivering in the cold weather after a rain. Saran went near him gave him his jacket to cover himself up. A small act of love that he learnt from his mother. The man said, "thank you". Saran, "uncle, you doesn't look good are you here alone? ". He didn't get his answer, once again the silence reminded him his mother. The man said, " you look like a boy from a rich family, you are here alone?" Saran replied, "yes, I had fight with my mom and came here" the man laughs. He said, " my dear boy, I have an incurable disease, I can't even stand even for a 10 continuous minutes. I have a family, my wife is the most beautiful and talented woman in this world. I have a child though i have never seen its face not aware of its gender I'm pretty sure it takes after my wife. We studied together, got married but before seeing my child I got affected with this ill fate". Now Saran can be able to recognize this man. It is his father Praveen, the man he longed to see all this time. Not being able to talk he listenend to him silently. " you know what is the world's beautiful thing is? It is the love we get from others. We could get that only by giving it to them. I got that beautiful love. But I'm also afraid about hurting my love by showing them my ill fate. Here, I see you come by hurting your mother and in return hurting yourself". Saran cried, felt bad for his parents. At the same time thanked them for being so loving and caring about each other.
He knows his father is now nearing his death. He doesn't want his father to regret his decision in his last days. And so, never opened up his identity. More than anything he was afraid of his mother how she would feel when she meets her diseased husband in his last phase of life. Saran promised himself to keep this as a secret. He has got his own a present on his birthday that he expected from his mother, seeing his father came to know what exactly happened before 12 years.
Saran returned home. Hugged his mother crying and asked for forgiveness. He promised her that he would never hurt or make her cry. Saran never opened up anything to his mother about meeting his father. Nandita noticed the depressed look on Saran's face and begins to ask questions, the only thing Saran said was, "amma, I'm hungry". All this time it was Nandita who distracts Saran from Praveen's topic hereafter it would be Saran doing it. He might be 12 in his age but acted as an adult. He begins to be much caring and loving towards his mother. He never wants to waste this life that was sacrificed by his father, by being sad. He makes sure to keep his mother happy and often visits the park to see his father, without revealing himself.
Praveen never knew he will die with an incurable disease. Nandita never knew she would lose her love. Saran never knew he would meet his diseased father and will come to know the tragedy that happened before 12 years. Our life can be filled with many unknown crisis we doesn't have to know it all. Solving the crisis is not only life, sharing your happiness is life. That is why life has hidden the most difficult crisis. Better thank the ones around you for being shared their life with you!!!!!
